In the business world today, the landscape of marketing practice is rapidly changing. A primary factor that is causing this is technology, particularly due to many innovations in the IT and telecommunications field. Consequently, this has resulted in many enhancements to how owners of businesses and brands can communicate their products and services to their customers.
Now, one can gain from a much valued opportunity to learn from an expert panel of business leaders who are all innovators in their own right in the field of digital and interactive marketing. The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) and the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) are collaborating to present a unique seminar under the banner of the PUTRA Brand Leadership Series. This seminar is entitled “WEB 2.0 : Unleash The New Marketing Power”. This seminar will be a full day programme to be held on 28th April 2010 at the PJ Hilton from 8.30am. A highly relevant panel of seven (7) speakers will make their presentations. The Seminar will be jointly launched by Tan Sri Datuk Mustafa Mansur, President of FMM and Datuk Vincent Lee, President of the 4As.
As the title suggests, the goal of this seminar is to introduce and instigate participants to understand and consider the adoption of some of the new technological innovations that provide an important reference point for organizations to gain radical leverage on how they may achieve renewed levels of success in terms of business development. At this seminar, participants may expect to experience the distinguished panel of speakers expanding upon their knowledge and experience, especially on the convergence of the web and mobile platforms, and how this convergence plays a role in marketing success. The speakers are also expected to present relevant case-studies from their respective business experiences, and thereby participants may also learn from some of the secrets of their success as well.
The PUTRA Brand Leadership Series is held annually by the 4As, as a series of seminars, lectures and forums that are uniquely designed to provide knowledge gaining opportunities for its members as well as associates from the advertising and brand communications industry. This is the first time the 4As is collaborating with FMM, especially its member organizations – FMM Institute and Tradenex. The 4As sees this collaboration as a strategic partnership to engender stronger inter-industry liaison with an organization that strongly represents a large number key stakeholders in the Malaysian economic infrastructure.
FMM Institute and Tradenex are both subsidiary companies of FMM, which is the largest private sector economic organization in the country. Representing over 2000 manufacturing and industrial service companies, FMM has been reputed to be the “Voice of the Malaysian Manufacturing Industry”.
The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) is the representative body of the RM6 billion advertising industry with a membership of over 140 multinational and local organizations involved in brand strategy and communications. It celebrates, encourages and fosters creativity and brand building ideas that are the core competencies to drive industry value generation.
