The announcement of the new promotions follows in the footsteps of Leo Burnett’s recent win of the Samsung creative account, and its numerous awards won in 2009 including ‘Agency of the Year’ and ‘Golden Kancil’ at Kancil Awards.
Leo Burnett & Arc Worldwide ushers in 2010 with the announcement of new promotions to streamline the agency’s Malaysia operations effective 1st February. Mazuin Zin, who was previously Client Services Director has been promoted as the agency’s General Manager, tasked to oversee the day-to-day operations and client-related matters for both Leo Burnett & Arc Worldwide. To assist her in her new role, the Group Brand Management Directors, Arc’s Head of Departments, and the New Business team will report directly to her. Mazuin has been with Leo Burnett Malaysia for over 10 years including a short stint with Leo Burnett in Singapore. Tan Yew Leong and Iska Hashim have been appointed as joint Creative Directors to oversee Leo Burnett’s creative department, while working together with Valerie Chen and Theresa Tsang who continues to head Arc Worldwide’s creative team. ![]() The agency’s management revamp comes at an ideal time as its CEO, Tan Kien Eng manages his time between the Singapore and Kuala Lumpur offices. Speaking further about the promotions, Kien said, “The new line-up on both the creative and operations front is a very necessary move that will not only boost the agency’s stronghold in its creative offerings but will also make us a more effective and seamless unit across all our different disciplines in Leo Burnett and Arc.
